Godzilla x Kong International Trailer Reveals More Kaiju Destruction

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire's international trailer shows new kaiju action.

As a sequel to 2021's Godzilla vs. Kong, returning director Adam Wingard's film teams the two titans up to defeat the Skar King.

The film will challenge Godzilla and Kong like never before, making it Legendary's Monsterverse's most action-packed.

Godzilla (2014) was darker and more serious than many of its successors, treating the kaiju as a villain for most of its length.

Godzilla x Kong: The upcoming Empire trailers confirm that this upcoming film won't follow that method.

With Wingard returning as director, the sequel appears to follow Godzilla vs. Kong's flamboyant, colourful action sequences.

The original film's ending combat, where Godzilla and Kong band together to defeat Mechagodzilla, is similar to the new film's.
