Is it safe to drink coffee if you have heart failure?

Yes, it is safe to consume coffee in moderation if you have heart failure.

Coffee is a natural stimulant that may raise heart rate in some people

But it has not been shown to have any negative effects on those suffering from heart failure.

Studies have shown that drinking two cups of coffee per day may have long-term benefits and reduce the risk of heart vessel blockages.

Coffee consumption is known to raise blood pressure, which is harmful to people with heart failure.

However, consumption will only cause damage if in large quantities, such as more than 6 cups per day.

A moderate amount of coffee (2 or 3 cups a day) does not interfere with heart health.

So it is safe to drink coffee if you have heart failure as long as you take it in that dose.
