Ja Morant injury: Grizzlies star's shoulder tear ends his season after only nine game

Due to a torn labrum, Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant will miss the rest of the season, the team announced on social media on Monday night.

According to the official Grizzlies release: Morant's right shoulder subluxed during Saturday's training session.

After experiencing persistent pain and instability, Morant's MRI indicated a labral tear. 

After undergoing season-ending surgery, Morant should recover fully in time for the 2024–25 campaign. 

The Memphis Grizzlies revealed on social media on Monday night that guard Ja Morant,

 who has a ruptured labrum, will miss the rest of the season.

Morant's right shoulder subluxed during the training session on Saturday. After experiencing persistent discomfort and unsteadiness, 

 Morant had an MRI, which identified a labral tear.
