Major upgrades for 'John Wick 5' announced

The fourth film follows "Baba Yaga" as he goes all guns blazing (literally) to defeat the High Table, who has placed a reward on him, and liberate himself from all debts and commitments.

In an interview, Keanu Reeves revealed that he and the film's producers intended for John Wick to die in a blaze of glory in order to be free and peaceful.

"We had the opportunity [to do another film] because of the audience [response to] Chapter 3, and we were like, 'What was the Why?'" Reeves told Digital Spy, a US news outlet. "And as Chad and I were chatting, the Why? was death, namely John Wick's death.

"The movie was created to help him find peace and independence. It can't just be, 'Let's do another one'. It was basically about death, or a method of dying. We were truly motivated by the Hagakure (Samurai warrior code).

Chad Stahelski, who previously revealed 'John Wick 5', claimed the forthcoming flicks would be quite different from the prequels.

He also stated that the ending of 'John Wick: Chapter 4' suggests that there will never be another film based on the character, which was a wonderful and elegant way to say goodbye.

"If there is another John Wick movie, I believe it will be an entirely different novel. If these movies are four chapters, the next John Wick movie will be a book.

It will not be like six months since John Wick 4. We simply don't know what that is. But we all like spending time together and participating in the process. The more time that passes, the more we miss
