Marvel Removed Tom Holland's Spider-Man Cameo from 1 Phase 4 Movie (Confirmed)

It seems that two MCU Multiverse films were intended to include Tom Holland's Spider-Man.

In 2021, Spider-Man: No Way Home introduced the Multiverse, the centerpiece of the MCU's newest story,

as well as a group of the movie's Spideys on the big screen.

Though fans now know it wasn't Marvel Studios' original idea, No Way Home ended up being Holland's one and only Phase 4 part.

Veteran MCU costumer Graham Churchyard claims that Tom Holland was originally planned to make an appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Churchyard disclosed that Spider-Man was originally planned to make "a very brief cameo appearance" in Doctor Strange 2:

"Spider-Man: No Way Home was originally scheduled to release after "Multiverse [of Madness],"

" but due to COVID scheduling, it released earlier. Therefore, Spider-Man was meant to make a very brief cameo appearance in "Multiverse [of Madness]"
