NBA: Warriors star Draymond Green suspended indefinitely after striking Jusuf Nurkic in the face

After hitting Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face and receiving a Flagrant 2 foul and expulsion

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was suspended indefinitely by the National Basketball

Association (NBA) on Wednesday. The suspension came less than twenty-four hours after the incident.

According to the league, the penalty that was handed down by Joe Dumars, who is the chief of operations,

will begin immediately. The current ban is Green's second suspension of the current season

"Before he is allowed to return to play, he will be required to fulfill certain conditions imposed by the league and the team," the league stated.

"This outcome takes into account Green's repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts," the National Basketball Association (NBA) stated a statement.

Although the Warriors did not issue a statement on Wednesday, they did mention that they

will discuss Green's ban during the shootaround that would take place on Thursday in Los Angeles, prior to their game against the Clippers.
