Olivia Rodrigo’s New ‘Guts’ Deluxe Edition Songs Storm iTunes Chart

Olivia Rodrigo returned on Friday (March 22) with the deluxe edition of her sophomore album Guts.

The singer-songwriter expanded the full-length, which is now longer, with a handful of new songs that became instant hits on iTunes just hours after their debut.

Rodrigo's five newly released tunes make their debut on the iTunes U.S. bestseller list. The highest of the bunch is "Obsessed," which debuts at No. 6.

"Obsessed" is not only Rodrigo's top new performer, but it also made the highest debut on the iTunes U.S. chart on Friday.

The Grammy winner outperforms other hot releases from Cardi B, Shakira, Future, Metro Boomin, and more.

Rodrigo's four new songs follow "Obsessed" closely. They come practically consecutively, with only one track interrupting her successful run.

As of this writing, "So American" is Rodrigo's second-highest-charting new single on iTunes. That track debuts at No. 13, slightly ahead of "Stranger" at No. 14.

Justin Timberlake's "Paradise," voted the most significant song on his album Everything I Thought It Was, sits at No.

15. It is the only tune from the recently released set that has performed well on iTunes, and it is still selling well even after its first full tracking week.

Rodrigo's latest hit, "Scared of My Guitar," has debuted at No. 16. Following that smash is "Girl I've Always Been," which debuts at No. 17.
