Outlander Prequel Series Casts Jamie and Claire's Parents in New Epic Love Stories

The Outlander prequel series, Blood of My Blood, has achieved critical acclaim. The Hollywood Reporter claims that the main cast members of the STARZ series include Jeremy Irvine (Mamma Mia!

Here We Go Again), Hermione Corfield (We Hunt Together), Jamie Roy (Your Boyfriend is Mine),

and Harriet Slater (Pennyworth). The casting news reveals that Claire's parents will also be featured prominently in the season, in addition to Jamie's.

In the eighteenth century Scottish drama, Slater will portray Ellen MacKenzie, while Roy will portray Brian Fraser. 

These two characters would go on to become Jamie Fraser's parents. The story of Corfield's character,

 Julia Moriston, and Irvine's character, Henry Beauchamp, who become Claire's parents, is set in World War I-era England.
