Randy Travis Is Feeling 'Good' After Suffering a Massive Stroke in 2013: 'He's Very Faithful'

Upon being asked how he was feeling at the moment, he said, "Good.

Following a respiratory infection in 2013, Travis, 64, suffered from viral cardiomyopathy, a heart ailment that put him in severe condition.

Later on, he suffered a stroke, which required brain surgery. His wife, Mary Davis,

speaks on his behalf most of the time because he has difficulty speaking or singing due to aphasia that he suffered after the stroke.

When someone has DCM, the heart valves enlarge and become less effective at pumping blood because of this.

She said to Fox News Digital, "He's very faithful." You see, we put a lot of weight on God. It's difficult to realize that the stroke occurred ten years ago

There are truly no adequate words to express my gratitude to God for his kindness and grace,

and not a day goes by that I don't say so."
