Vegan Banana, Almond Butter, and Cold-Brew Smoothie

A splash of cold brew, a splash of coconut water, and a scoop of almond butter are just a few of the main components that make this plant-powered smoothie the ideal way to start the day.

What you will require:

3 frozen bananas (cut into bits) 1 tablespoon almond butter, raw 18 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon cacao nibs 1 heaping tablespoon hemp seeds 1 cup of cold-brewed coffee 1 liter coconut water 1 teaspoon almond milk

If you don't have ready-made cold-brew coffee, make your own by steeping coarsely ground coffee beans in cold water overnight. To produce a concentrated cold-brew, strain the coffee.

2. Blend the ripe bananas, almond butter, cold-brew coffee, almond milk, vanilla extract, and optional sweetener in a blender. You can also add ice cubes for a thicker consistency.

3. Blend Until Smooth: Blend all of the ingredients on high speed until they are smooth and creamy. Blend thoroughly to include the almond butter and achieve a smooth texture.

4. Taste and Adjust: If necessary, adjust the sweetness or thickness of the smoothie. You can adjust the amount of maple syrup, agave syrup, or ice cubes to your liking. 

5. Serve: Immediately pour the smoothie into glasses and serve. For a special touch, garnish with a banana slice or a sprinkle of chopped almonds.
